Well, I don't store my car outside, but I do park it outside, and it doesn't
move for a week at a time sometimes.  Some notes:

Snow can't get below freezing.  Ambient air sure can.  I don't see how
shovelling around the wheels will help.  Snow on the roof shouldn't be a
problem, unless you live in Colorado.  Once the grass is frozen, it won't
cause moisture problems, and if your car is salt-free, rust will not be a
problem.  Keep the gas tank full to prevent freezing, and disconnect the
battery.  You should be fine.
