We got some kind of "treatment" when we bought our '93 Saturn SL2 (DOHC, 
5-speed), our other car.  Supposed to never need waxing.  Now, almost 3 
years later, water still beads up and it still shines when it's washed.  
Seems to work, whatever the "
treatment" was.
