The REAL difference between "style bars" and "roll bars" is actually terminology rather than design. Some years back in the motorcycle industry the same thing occured... what were commonly known from day one as "crash bars" suddenly began to be called "style bars" "case protectors" etc. etc. etc. It was all dreamed up by lawyers and otherwise by those who wished to be politically correct. Today, few if any companies want to say "roll bar" even if that is exactly what the thing is intended for- simply because of political and legal ramifications. To extend things a bit further, cereals which once and forever had "SUGAR" as part of their title a few years ago suddenly morphed their titles. Examples: Sugar Smacks = Honey Smacks; Sugar Pops = Corn Pops; Sugar Crisp = Super Golden Crisp.
