Yet another example of a short wheelbase car with independant suspension having handling problems with sand. In the local Ice Racing series, Datsun Z cars are by far the most common, with engines ranging from mild 2.4 litres to wildly done out 3.0 litres. These cars run in all classes--rubber to ice (regular winter tires), limited stud (up to six bolts per foot), and race stud (as many bolts as your car will turn) and NONE of the drivers add weight behind the axle line.
