I wanted a muffer that would open up the system for a little increase in hp but would not affect the great sound of the Miata. No louder or softer. The Genie seems to fit the bill perfectly. It is also the muffers that MCA kept on their project car. Marti from Autostar Express has it one his Miata. I told him of my concerns and he let me drive his Miata. It was great. I could feel the slight increase in power and the sound was the same great note I love coming from my Miata. (He says it's just a bit louder but I didn't notice any increase) The Genie muffler is made of 304 stainless steel, ten year guarantee. The muffler system is $415 and I think that's from the cat back. His number is 800 284-3373. Give them a call - it's free. Ken '92 (yellow) Sundance Who can't wait to get a new Genie Muffler
