If you're wondering what it looks like, you can see the black bit on Ken
Walker's picture of TIC-TAC called modtoneu.gif available in JTBob's photo
archives.  You can get there through the Miata.net Web site or directly
through FTP (caliban.ucsd.edu \pub\miata).  

The reason for the black bit is to cut down on reflections on the windshield
when you drive with the passenger's side closed, I'll be.  The flat surface
of the tonneau would cause much worse reflections than the curved dash.
Thus, a weird black bit.
