I was wondering what will be long term parts availability for the
engine used in the Miata in '94 and '95.  A lower horsepower engine was
used pre-'94 and an even high horsepower engine is used in the '96.

Questions:

1. How much parts commonalty is there between the '94/'95 engine and
its predecessors and successors?

2. Is the '94 engine same as (or similar to] engine used in another
Mazda current or past?

3. What is Mazda's parts availability record for discontinued engines.

-- In other words am I looking at a problem long term or not.
