Subject: Replacing oil gauge in '95 and timing to 14 degrees

Been reading about the "fake" oil gauge in my '95.  I almost have the dealer
convinced that it should be replaced.  

Has anyone on the list actually had it done?  Must you replace the gauge,
sending unit, or both.  The more info I can provide the dealer, the easier
it'll be.

THANKS for the help on finding my cam sensor.  Once I knew what to look for,
the timing change to 14 degrees was a snap and a 2 minute job!  The car
seems peppier in the mid-range.
