It had a very bad shimmy at 65 through 68 MPH.. and.. adjusting the tires to 28 PSI really helped a LOT. The seat does not giggle as much (passenger seat.. and.. when not anchored to the rear) and the ride is much smoother.. almost tooooo smooth. Gas mileage did suffer a tad.. and.. well.. the shimmy is still faintly there.. but not NEAR as noticable. I could probably take a lot more of it away with the 26 PSI for the tire pressure, but gas mileage and cadalliac ride are not my idea of a better trade off from what I am currently experiencing. Check your tire pressure. I spoke to the Miata Mechanic at Carlsbad Mazda, who stated that they fill up the tires to the spec's on the tire.. and.. not according to what is on the inside of your DOOR label. I shared with him the 26 PSI recommendation.. something you may want to explore. Also. the TECH issue of the Miata Mag stated many other things you can do to help get rid of that shimmy. Take care. hope this helps.. John John and his newly named Miata..
