Hmmm.  Maybe Miatas attract boat owners, airplane pilots and horseback
riders because they're all interconnected.  Such people (myself included;
I ride horses, have sailed an El Toro and a Sunfish, and got to steer
on my aerobatic biplane ride) may instinctively like to "drive" things
that are more responsive than the average vehicle.

Oh, I forgot motorcycle riders too.
