Anyone else with substantial success with solving the shimmy???

On a recent drive through Yellowstone my '90 started to shimmy. (Lots of
potholes on the Western side!)   On returning home, I had the tires rotated,
balanced and a precision four-wheel realignment done.  Shimmy gone.
