} I spun out turning left from a thoroughfare onto a side street in rainy } weather and hit a parked car. My wife said I was driving too fast, but I } didn't think I was pushing it; I think I should have been able to hold } the road at at least 50% higher speed. I have original Bridgestone tires } with 7,000 miles wear. The OEM tires are infamous for poor wet traction. } I am tempted to throw away the Bridgestones and get some decent tires. I } try not to drive the Miata much in the New England winter, but nevertheless } it would seem to make sense to get all-weather times. Any suggestions? } Dunlop D60 A2s, Yokohama U+4s or A+4s, or something else? I'm impressed by the wet traction of the A2s, but I've never tried any of the other tires. This hasn't stopped me from spinning out on wet fall roads on ocassion, though.
