Mike,

I got tired of having my big, old chunky forearm sitting on the hard 
plastic console. I purchased the padded vinyl one (my body seems to eat 
up anything leather in a matter of months...but that's another story) 
from BrainStorm.

It's the one that goes all the way to the back with a cutout for the lock.
It is form-fitting and mounts to the current lid with some velcro stuff. 
I had my doubts, but after several months it is very sturdy.

I really like it a lot.
