This very morning, I honked and "popped lights" at a Merlot "M" edition on my way to work. The "tan top" packages are pretty rare around here, so I almost always get a wave from a fellow "C" package owner. This lady looked at me as if I were some kind of lunatic when I pulled up next to her at a stop sign! Man, if looks could kill... I guess some people buy a car strictly for their own little world and could care less what other people drive. Or maybe she had a bad case of "Mine's an 'M' edition and I refuse to acknowledge inferior models" syndrome. kjw & TIC-TAC ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: It's a Miata world out there! Author: peteman@ix.netcom.com (Peter Brusa ) at INTERNET Date: 10/31/95 10:42 PM Ok let's try this message AGAIN! I hate mail-hang-ups! Miata owners a a rare breed. We share one quality that no one, even BMW, cannot match! So, Why is it that sometimes when I am crusing and pass another Miata, I wave and get no response back?? It's like 75% of the time no one really cares. It's like the owner of the other Miata is the type of person who bought the car and showed it to his friend by saying: "Hey Billie, cumon' over here a see my little ne europ-ean sporty convert-mo-bile!" These people just don't get it. I usually flip up the old lights, but to pulse...just DEAD Miata owners. Am I missing the secret flash-to-pass-wave-your-hand wave???
