Subject: Air Conditioning Power Loss

I have been experiencing problems with air conditioning system. When the 
system is on there seems to be vitually no power at low rpms.  The 
problem is especially evidnet in city driving.  At highway speeds, when 
the compressor engages, there also seems to be more power loss than I 
have found in other miatas.

Any ideas?
