sure, tape is an ok temp solution, but i was going to replace
the top anyway (it's starting to wear in a number of places,
and has a few small pinholes in the top material along crease lines).
i'm sure i could muddle along for a few more years, adding patches
and more tape as i go, but after all, this is a *Miata* - i have
an IMAGE to keep up! now, maybe if it was some British car... :-)

weather and schedule certainly plays a role, but mostly due to
increased driver tolerance...
