ok, time for another of the tech. people to have a shot. It finally rainded this weekend (and we were out at a crafts show, but that is another story, and not Miata related at that). I have water dripping on the passenger's side of the car just in front of the seat. I traced it and found that the water is coming in between the door and the piller/roof junction (or in that vacinity). It seems to be wicking around the rubber that is designed to catch the water and drain it outside at the top where the piller meets the roof at the door. The cup had a been damp, but appeared to have drained properly, so that does not appear to be the problem. Any ideas on how to: a. keep the water out? b. direct it to the catch basin where maybe it is supposed to go? marc -- [ Marc Lewert | Zen Hugs: The hugs you would get, ] [ Octel Communications | if we were there, ] [ 1001 Murphy Ranch Road | if we could hug you, ] [ Milpitas, CA 95035-7912 | but we aren't, ] [ Phone: (408) 324-6626 | and we can't ] [ E-Mail: marc@octel.com | - Anne McCaffery, Mercedes Lackey ] [ Disclaimer: The company knows what I think, I tell them often enough. ]
