From: Jim Flynn Subject: Supercharger for Sale Date: Mon, 4 Dec 1995 14:57:18 -0500
I posted this to the classifieds this morning. However, since not everybody goes through Miata.Net to get to the listserver, I thought I would post it here. (Either way, Gary still gets his well-deserved cut : )) Nelson Supercharger for 1.6 Miata. Paxton blower with 12K miles, boost and fuel pressure gauges, ignition advance/retarding box, high-pressure fuel pump and HKS air filter. Options include S/C oil cooler, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and custom-fabricated mounting brackets. New silicone hoses, clamps, belts, and cool(er) range platinum plugs. Spare pulley, hoses, belts, and fuel pump included. Replacement cost >$3,200; selling for $1,200. The s/c is currently on a 1990 Miata, but it's coming off this weekend (My wife wants a more "civilized" car; so the stock parts go back on! The roll bar, shocks and wheels have been spoken for.) WARNING: The supercharger is (of course) louder than a stock Miata; above 5000 rpm, it really shrieks!! This, unfortunately, drives my wife absolutely bonkers. If you have hyper-sensitive ears, please do not consider purchasing this kit. James Flynn flynnj@baymont.com
