Wilson signed the spped limit increase law over a month ago and President Clinton signed the federal repeal, the CHP has decided that they are going to keep enforcing the 55 limit. Their rationale is that they don't have the signs to post the 70 & 65 limits. I say, "Use the signs that you took down when the limit was lowered from 70 to 55!" The person in charge of the CHP should remember that the Governor & State Legislature are his bosses. If he won't implement the directed change, then he should resign immediately. BTW, when the unconstitutional 55 limit was rammed down on the states, the man in charge of the CHP, then, DID resign, saying that he could not enforce an illegal law. DENNIS B. Swaney Team "I'm on highway 70 so isn't the limit 70?"
