There are whole lot of essentially irrelevant, sometimes witty and sometimes just trying to be witty, notes being posted here that ought better to have been posted as individual messsages. A certain amount of self-discipline seems called for; this should help us to regain what we used to have, which was a helpful forum for information and advice about our favorite means of transportation. Another matter on the same point, more or less: recently I've seen several one or two-line messages posted that copied a page-long dissertation that probably ought not to have been posted at all, but that certainly doesn't bear repeating. If we can get the signal/noise ratio back to where it was before we all got carried away (and I've done it too) my guess is that the rash of "unsubscribe" messages will vanish. Anyway, them's my thoughts. Frank Potter MEOWTA - 1993 Black/Red LE #290, mostly based in DC/VA
