Hi, all: Had a weird thing happen on the way back to the office from lunch today. Was approaching an intersection kinda hot and, because of heavy traffic all around, made a last-minute yellow light decision to stop. When I hit the binders, my car pulled to the left *hard*. I lifted, straightened out but had to get on 'em again to stay on the early side of the stop line. Same thing. Hard pull to the left. Needless to say, I drove gingerly until I could get off the main drag. The road was fairly clear so I accelerated and got on the brakes hard again. No pull. I did it again and braked hard once more with no hand on the wheel. Sure straight stop. The problem did not recur again. The trip home tonight may be interesting but I'm going to stay off the Interstate to play it safe. As far as I know, the road surface was equal under each side of the car. There could have been an oil or water slick there (especially since it was an intersection stopping lane) but I sure didn't notice anything. I've not had any trouble with the brakes at all previously. About 15M miles on the car. Any ideas? TIA Keep the Revs up!
