About the only time double clutching really gets you anything in a car with
synchros is when you make a 2 gear downshift, like from 5th to 3rd when you
want to pass. (This is an easy one because you don't have to brake)If you
can master double clutching while braking, you should join the Bolshoi.
Definitely a useful technique, but a real bugger to learn! When racing
non-syncho cars, you HAVE to learn, though.
