The latest issue of Automobile had the same type of tone in its Z3-Miata comparison. They stated the only reason they prefer the Z3 is b/c its new. Well, new or not, $8k-10k more than a Miata and offering no real performance advantage is a joke to me (and I'm sure a joke to many other Miata owners). I can see many new Z3 owners this year, but more new Miata owners. I'll just take that $8k I've saved and buy a turbo for my 95 R. I'll be on the prowl for them yuppie Z3 owners. Hehehehe.. -Brian Porter 95R On Tue, 2 Jan 1996 Matt.Degroodt@corp.anixter.com wrote: > Originally sent this last week, Don't think it made it to the list... > > Rebecca, > > Have not seen that one but, In a the Dec 25- Jan 1 issue of > BusinessWeek on page 46 in the usual what's in/out for 1996 they > state: > > What's In: BMW Z3 > What's Out: Mazda Miata > > and there's a picture of a Red Miata with the caption "destination: > nowhere" !!! > > Can you believe it!
