Oh god, another one. 

 I had a '69 Corvair 4-door AFTER I got rid of the Pinto.   It had 29,000
original miles on it (owned by a little old lady that was going BLIND!)  Car
was in sad shape when I bought it, but I drove the bejezus out of it
(including a round trip from Basking Ridge NJ to Lockport  NY (a LONG trip
for you non-North-East types)

The car finally gave up the ghost when it spit up some yellowish looking
fluid and refused to start in my then girlfriends driveway (girlfriend is
now my wife, Fran).  

We almost bought a Turbo convertible a couple of years ago.  3500.00, and
needed TONS of work.  Sadly, we had to pass..
