John, here are some more revisions for your impressive FAQ for the Limited and Special Edition Miatas. >1991 Special Edition > > Canada: The 1991 Canadian BRG was designated "Limited > Edition" although production was not limited. The models > were not registered or numbered, and there was no plaque. > There were about 1400 BRGs sold in Canada in 1991. > The Canadian model did not have an air bag, leather- > wrapped steering wheel, tonneau cover, air conditioning, > or cruise control. Still, it was well-equipped. All > Canadian Miatas had daytime running lights. The 1991 Canadian BRG models were Limited Editions, and 1465 were sold. They came standard with the CD player & headrest speakers (first time for Canada), power windows, the Viscous LSD, and the sill plates. Air conditioning, hard top, tonneau cover were all dealer options. 1994 saw the return of BRG to Canada, continuing through 1995 & 1996. Tan leather and black cloth version can be purchased, however the tan cars come with a tan top now, so besides the wheels, zit on the nose, they are easy to spot as imitators. >1992 Black Miata This model was a Special Edition not limited to 1992, but also available in 1993. It had the standard Miata alloy rims (no BBS), leather seats, CD player & headrest speakers, tan top, sill plates, power windows, cruise control, & the Viscous LSD. >1992 Sunburst Yellow > Canada, Europe, and Australia > > Limited edition yellow Miatas were sold in Canada, and > were well-equipped with power options. This model was available in 1992 as a Special Edition sporting only the colour and a Viscous LSD. Unlike the US cars, it did come with PS. >1993 Limited Edition The 1993 Limited Edition in Canada sported Mazda's Canada's 25th Anniversary logo on the fenders behind the front wheels. It came with the red leather interior, Sensory Surround stereo, power windows & mirrors, cruise control, BBS wheels, rear floating spoiler, front & rear valances, sill plates, kick panels, and the Bilstein suspension upgrades which found there way onto the later R models in the US.
