Keith, This is freeware. If it helps anyone, use it. The same diode as the headlight mod is fine, the current is low, and almost any diode would work. The wire is actually soldered to one end of the diode. Due to the location under the dash of the two connectors, the wire is needed to reach the second connector. I installed a diode with the band side wedged into the key reminder switch pin of the existing buzzer (Blu/Yel wire at F-57) and the wire (other side of diode) wedged into the red/blk wire of the fog light connector (I-03). Spade lugs were added to the diode and wire ends to improve the connection integrity at the connectors. I also enclosed the diode/wire assembly in heatshrink tubing for protection from shorting. Electrical tape could be used for this task. All of this is from memory (which is not very good). I will be out of pocket for about a week. I will visually verify the above when I return. I will even try to write up a more detailed (with diagrams?) description of the mod for general consumption. If you have any difficulty or questions, E-mail me which will remind me to get off my duff and get it done! What's the diode (size, etc)? The same as the headlight one? Why the wire and diode? Wouldn't the wire nullify the effect of the diode? Keith Tanner
