Just went for a burn (the roads are dry up here in Ottawa, Canada) and 
the temp is about -22c (-7.6F) (nifty, about 4 feet of snow on the 
ground, but dry roads). When its that cold out the miata seems to have 
excessive power (I have the HUGE K&N filter and Trust exhaust). I don't 
know how fast one actually gets to 100kph (62mph) but it is much faster 
than you do in the summer (which brings be back to my ram-air idea...)
