I was on this forum about a year ago, and I remember seeing something about a
hard top that was not from Mazda for about 700 dollars.  I also remember
hearing that some thought it was superior.  Does anyone have the contact
number for this place?

Yep, got the soft top nailed by bandits as a Christmas pressy.  Sigh.
