Do we have another urban legend here? I'm having trouble buying this one, RE: The airbag snapping a woman's neck when it deployed. That's why all cars have been sold with high headrests on the seats for the past 25 years or so. No, not because of airbags suddenly pushing a person's head back in a frontal collision, but because of inertia suddenly pushing a person's head back in a rear end collision. Same effect, and the headrest should have the same effect in each case. I'm gonna want to see hard data on this one, before I'll swallow it. --Jack M. & KANSEI--
