Although...

your car. When my top was opened up, there was nothing visible in the car 
and the slasher left my cd's in the glove box.

They were sure to throw snow in the car, though. 
Bottom line: if you top is going to be slashed it is just going to 
happen. It is unfortunate, but true. You may as well lock the car
to prevent additonal crimes.
