Hi All,

A few weeks ago, someone on the list mentioned attending an event at the
Texas World Speedway where Ferrari made the delivery of the first two US
spec F50s.

I just read an article about it in Autoweek where they said that one new
owner immediately put his half million dollar Ferrari on the track and took
friends and family for hot laps.  He even took a four yearl old kid for a
lap strapped to his father's lap.  One lap was at 188 mph.

Who was this lucky Miata.netter and did she/he get a ride in the F50?  Will
you give us some more details/impressions about this event?   If you think
it inappropriate subject material for the Miata list, I would be happy to
have a private email about the event.
