I just thought that I would share the kinds of things that my spies report are being discussed on the Triumph list. I got a big kick out of this. It probably was not very mature of me, but I posted a reply to this back to the Triumph guys. Feel free to do the same or just laugh at their foolishness... Toth To: triumphs@autox.team.net Subject: Miata knocking Hey all, What's all of this talk of a Miata being so great? I have had the opporyunity (not all that pleasurable, I might add), of driving a Miata around town and country for a day. I was not impressed. Fuel injection? Big deal. You can't even tell it's running! Independant rear. Yeah, so. Really, not much better than my TR250's. I know that this was a comparison to the TR4 and the MGB. First of all, The Miata is 90's technology. Higher quality steel, etc. Secondly, it has no character! It looks like the cookie-cutter shape of nearly every car in production right now! Finally, it has no "balls"! 1.6L, Wow! This car can't even get out of it's own way! Mild handling and not much more cargo space than a TR. These cars shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath, much less compared! I get really ripped when Miata owner's or fans brag about it being some great sports car. I eat them for breakfast anytime...anywhere. Enough said. The Yellow Bullet "Can't drive 55!" 68TR250 CD915L
