Thanks to all you Miata Enthusiats I lost whatever bit of common sense that I may have had and traded (sacraficed) my perfectly good, ultra reliable, low mileage, well maintained Honda "They're like gold in KC" Civic for a '94 B package in Frozen Clasic Red. I know my family and friends will think I'm foolish when they find out, especially now that I have this foolish grin on my face, but what the heck! :) Now for the bad news. Help! I think the top may be a problem. On the passenger's side window the weather seal at the top of the window comes together at an angle sort of like this: weather seal ===//=== weather seal The break would be for the fold in the top. At the top of the break the two pieces butt up against each other but at the bottom there is a gap. It appears that water will drip down the inside of the window because of the gap (and as evidenced by water marks on the inside of the window). I couldn't confirm it because if I was lucky enough to dump/shoot/spray any water at it, the result would have been a topcicle due to the sub- freezing weather. Is there some kind of adjustment/fix to the top to correct this? If not, somebody shoot me now and put me out of misery. I noticed the same thing on two other used Miatas I looked at. Thanks, Chris Red 94 B <-- Ha! I finally got to do that!!! Who's Miata is shivering downtown in the bitter cold, waiting for her new owner to pick her up Monday. Yes, it had the boot in the trunk! BTW, how long do I have to wear this grin and when will my brain return to normal? :) P.S. This one has an MCA sticker from the former owner, I wonder if she already has a name? ;) P.P.S. Please accept my apology for ranting and raving like a madman.
