Well,
Just six hours after taking ownership of my '90 MX-5, the drivers side
window jammed. It wont wind down more than three inches (manual
winder, not electric). and now the window rattles when going over
bumps.  (it had worked several times earlier in the day)

I will be removing the door liner this weekend, and hopefully the
problem will be obvious. I just thought I'd fish for some net advice
or experience, so as not to re-invent the wheel.

Any help, advice, funny comments, abuse, etc.  gratefully received.
