One of the members of the Underground Miata Network has a great solution to
the dark interior.  He's installed one of the standard lights in the center
console, right behind the ashtray.  I think it's where the electric window
switches go, so those of you without cranks can stop reading now.  He wired
it to the light in the footwell so it gos on with the door.  The fit is
close enough that it looks stock, and it does a great job of illuminiating
the interior.  Cost is about $30 CDN for the light at a dealer.

I still think the best map light is a mini Maglite in the glovebox, but hey....

Keith and Baby, who went driving today.  It's no secret why many of the
great rallyists come from snowy countries.
