I soldered the wire (negative side) going to my lighted mirror directly to the lamp socket (3-way switch side) inside of the left hand dash light fixture. Thus, my lighted mirror works in unison with the 3-way dash light switch, i.e., I can set both lights to be always off, always on, or to work with the door's opening. I did install an additional plug at the dash light fixture so the fixture can be removed from the dash by unplugging the OEM plug and the additional plug I installed. -- Jeff Anderson @ @ @ @ @@@@@ @ Arlington, VA @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ 91 Silver @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ MCA, Capital Chapter @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ > From archive-owner Sat Mar 2 14:26:11 1996 > From: TEDSMIATA@aol.com > Subject: lighted mirrors > Date: Sat, 2 Mar 1996 14:25:05 -0500 > > > I just received MM Marketing's lighted mirror. >The only problem is no matter where you have the switches > on the "under dash lights " set the mirror lights always come on when > you open the doors, but I guess i can live with that. > > Tedsmiata > 91 BRG
