For any of you who are getting ready for the 60,000 miler, I thought I would share the costs I recently had in NC/SC: - Replace timing belt - labor: 132.39; belt: 41.60; head gasket: 24.96 - Replace cam and crank seals - labor: 50.00; oil seal: 5.93; oil seal 7.02 - Replace drive belts - v-belt: 19.50; belt 'V': 29.95 (no labor) - Clean air filter: 25.00 - Replace fuel filter: labor: 25.00; fuel filter 37.44 - Replace engine coolant - 25.00; antifreeze - 9.31 - Check a/c for proper operation - labor 50.00; freon 12.48 - Customer pay haz. waste for repair order - 18.44 Total labor: 307.39; total parts 207.69; Misc. charges 18.44, tax: 10.38 TOTAL: $543.90 For those of you who know how to work on your own cars, I know you feel good now.
