Subject: '90 Miata, should I buy?

Hello again,

	I am looking at a '90 Miata, Mariner Blue with the B options package.  I took 
the car for the weekend from the dealer.  I brought it to a heated garage to wash and
look the car over.  I found that the left front and right rear quater panels have been
painted.  I took out the spare tire and looked at the inside of the quater panel and 
could find no damage.  I do have the previous owners name and address and plan on calling 
him tommorrow.  The only reason I am considering the car is that it has 40,000 miles on it 
runs great, and is in great mechanical condition.  The dealer is asking around
$10,000 for the car.  What do you think would be a fair deduction if I decided to buy
the car?  Please feel free to tell me to steer clear of this car.
