Finally rolled my 91 Miata with Corky's Warner-Ishi Turbo into the shop Saturday. Corky modified the fuel pressure regulator with an improved diaphragm support plate and drilled a vent hole into the formerly closed off chamber under the diaphragm. Completely eliminated the tendency to run rich and improved the response of the fuel system (I'm tracking the fuel-air mixture with a ratiometer on the steering column). I like dealing with Corky and learn something every time I talk to him. He stands behind his product and is a pleasure to deal with. For those who are replacing their air filters at the dealer for $25 a pop, buy a K&N air filter. It costs $40-50 US but lasts the life of the car. The BirdMeister 91 Silver A with Bell Turbo (Who surprised the heck out of the college kid who thought his Z28 could outdrag my Miata!)
