Well, I bought the Samurai because *I* wanted it!  It was cute, cheap, and I
liked it.  The guys in our 4 wheel drive club thought I was crazy, but I
didn't care, and I always managed to embarass a few of them on any off-road
run.  I kept my 454 Blazer, just in case..., but the Susy is more fun.  And
27 MPG is better than 9.  I solved the lack of power problem with a
turbocharger, and it's really not a bad vehicle.

I bought the Miata for much the same reason.  *I* wanted it, I could afford
it, so nothing else mattered.  I got much more that I expected!

Life's too short.....
