i've had some real mail problems here with dead nameservers and hostile Unix
systems, and thus have been off miata.net for a full week.  if anyone sent me 
replies re my query on buying exhausts for power improvement versus just aural
gratification, could you please resend it.  i've gotten nothing since last 
friday night.

although the mail hassles seem to be solved, i'm going to stay off the net for 
a while.  i'm leaving on three weeks of continuous travel in a few days and 
still have tons of real work to do to get ready for it.  trip is to Holland, 
Houston, and Paris, in that order, and i'll be suffering Miata withdrawal along
with jet lag, all the time.
