Thank you all for your messages of sympathy, support, advice,
and commiseration (you almost spelled it right, Jack!).  I'll
be busy at the phone and fax machine Monday trying to figure
out how to deal with this mess.  I don't want to put a '91 
engine in Wendy unless I absolutely have to; I don't think I
will because Oak Tree has already said it will take around
$2150 to fix (hopefully less my 20% BAMA discount) if Made in
Japan won't do it.  And MiJ is saying that they can't see how
it's their fault.  Argh.  

It's great to have the love and support of so many people; it
really helps at a time like this to know the world isn't out to
get us and there are folks on our side.

I'll let y'all know what happened after we get this all hashed
out.  Meantime I'll be glad to let my parents have their '79
Chevy Luv pickup back tomorrow (I had to get home SOMEHOW) so
they can fix the brakes, wipers, heater, crossed headlights,
emergency brake, interior light, and shocks (well, I think I
can handle the headlight problem).
