Brian: I had considered a changer, but previous expierience shows I almost always want to hear a disc that's not in the changer. I had a changer in my truck, but sold it and went to in-dash only. I kind of like the idea of having the factory CD Player for several reasons: 1. Both tape and CD together. Wife has many tapes, I have many CD's. 2. It fits perfectly in dash, easy installation, looks great, etc. Plus it's fairly good Panasonic stuff, and with the road noise inherent in a convertible, you really can't tell much difference, IMHO. 3. It's much less likely to get stolen. Yes, I know face-off decks are a dime-a-dozen these days, but that ONE day you're too lazy to take it with you, there goes your top AND your deck. Plus, most people are much less likely to upgrade other stuff with factory decks (amps, speakers, etc.), so it's good camoflage for that expensive Clearwater amp and the subwoofers in the trunk, etc. And, yes, I know the factory head-rest speakers aren't very good either, but I figure I could find a set cheap from someone who upgraded their car already and try them out for an extended period of time to see if I really want them or not. Plus, if I ever sell the car, I would have the factory stuff to put it back together. Charles White '91 "A"
