     Hi, Bill, Tom, Skip, Reid, Sandy, John, Matt, and everyone else!
     
     The shop has a list of things to check (mostly from me), including:
     
     o  rods (their idea)
     o  cam/engine timing (again)
     o  cam lobes wiped due to not putting oil on them after install 
     o  timing belt not installed correctly
     
     Whatever it is, I wonder if they'll admit it if they screwed up.  Nah, 
     they'll probably just announce that it's fixed and hope I won't ask 
     questions.  (Dream on, boys.)  When they call me to tell me it's done, 
     I am going to make them put it on the diagnostic thingie and do a 
     30,000 mile type checkup, including smog check, and then I'm going to 
     take the service manager for a test drive.
     
     There will be no odd noises, as much power as before all this started, 
     and appropriate oil pressure.  There will be no new dents, dings, 
     broken items, scuffs or smells.  All accessories will work.
     
     He may or may not make it back.

     P.S.  Maybe I'll sound more convincing if I don't call it a 'diagnostic 
     thingie'...
