I am in the process of doing a home installation of headrest speakers. I removed the seat (the passenger side first so I can still drive) and found the connector for the headrest speaker wiring harness. Being cheap, I have decided to do without a factory wiring harness for my speakers and instead rely on my trusty friends at Radio Shack to supply me with the parts I need. Enough background - here's my question. The plug on the floor under the seat has six wires going into it. That's two for the left headrest speaker, two for the right headrest speaker, and two for. . .what? Now, I'm no electronics wizard, but what do you need to connect besides a positive and negative for each of the speakers? If somebody who has done a home installation of headrest speakers could share this info with me, or maybe one of the dealers who sells the wiring harness (Tommy at Roebuck?) I'd be most grateful.
