The WWW is turning into just another mall (with Muzak, if you've got browser plug-ins). 
And that's one more reason to appreciate the friendly, useful info of miata.net.

Is there another automotive "page" that isn't transparent hucksterism? Some griping 
from Gary about recognition and cooperation is allowable under the circumstances.

But if Official Involvement is not to be forthcoming, what's really needed is a good inside 
source. On other Web pages I frequent (related to Mac computers, for instance), the 
daily news flashes & links are a big part of the attraction. Much of the info comes from 
corporate/developer/beta-tester sources. Of course, the pace of computer hardware 
and software development lends itself to lots of newsy news & gossip -- but in the 
case of Miatas, there could be updates about dealer holdbacks & rebates, leasing 
packages, detailed service bulletins, sales figures, links & refers to related articles in the 
worldwide motor press, etc., etc., etc.

There's gotta be a Deep (Carburetor) Throat out there in Cyberville somewhere.
