Okay everyone, I've been kicking around the thought of getting rid of my '94 A pkg for a '96 M. Just wondering what some thoughts were on what I should ask for my '94. It's classic red, has 22k miles on it, and it has A/C and ABS. I've also added a rear spoiler and front air dam, sill plates and lighted mirror. Also installed is an Alpine alarm w/radar sensor. Just wondering what some thoughts are on asking price for the car. I got it cheap (I think, $17,300, sticker price was about $22,500) The spoiler and air dam were free !! The car is in flawless condition, except for the front bumper which was backed into a few months ago. It was repaired nicely, but in a few years you will probably be able to tell which is the reason I've been kicking around the idea of the '96 M. But otherwise there is nothing wrong with the car. The back window is scratchless. (One dealer I showed the car too asked me how I got the paint to shine deeper than the cars on his showroom, and how I can keep an engine bay as clean as a showroom car with 22K on the thing.) So far about $10,000 is the best offer price. An insult!! I'd like to sell the car privately but I still owe about $8000 on the loan, which would leave me less to trade in on the new car than turning the car over to a dealer. Any suggestions? Also, so far I can get the M edition for $23,300 + tax from my g/f's dealer going through her. I know the last M edition sold there went for around $29k, but I think I can get the car cheaper. Does anyone have the actual dealer costs for this car?? I've been looking but can't find prices for the M edition in the magazines. Well I gotta run.. nice out, have to get some top down time! Thanks for any and all suggestions! Bryan
