} Lynn of course, is quite aware of how the plate works and where it is, she
} is just using the good ol' Canajun genes.   At the end of this
} "investigation" the cop told her she better have the car over to the police
} station Saturday with the plate attached or she gets a $105.00 fine!
} Sooooooo, I gotta come up with a way to mount the plate, now that I don't
} know where the heck the old mount is.  Plus, I have another problem.....I
} sort of shaped the plate a little to fit the opening better.  I wonder what
} kind of fine you get for "plate butchering"?  I'll of course publish the
} outcome here.....stay tuned!

Why not just extend the plate?  As for the butchering --- get one of
those ugly trim pieces that go around the plate (often with an insipid
slogan on it), and use that to hide the butchering.
