I use Westley's convertible top cleaner.  Works very well.  The bottle says 
that you do not need to rinse it off, but I would recomend rinsing.

any suggestions on a good cleaner for the soft top?  My cat has trampled 
across it with muddy feet  and I can't seem to get the mud off.. 
even with a toothbrush and soapy water, it still shows up a little.. So 
something that will not only shine and protect, but will clean it..
