All joking aside...I personally like "running lights" on cars. They probably are more of a safety feature than people realize or would like to admit. There are too many people that don't put their lights on until they absolutely *have to* because they can't see. If it's somwthing that will allow me to go faster safely, then I'm all for it. The cars that are being manufactured in the U.S. (GM) with running lights are somewhat of a bastardization of the idea. While the lights are GOOD, people should have a choice of whether they want them on or not. Hell, you don't always need them on.
